|Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from LCC
What a year. Our resilience, resourcefulness and agility has been thoroughly tested and we have been proud to share it all with you, our fantastic community. Your support and appreciation for our efforts throughout this challenging year is what has kept us going. We really wanted to be a community hub for you during this disrupted festive period but it wasn’t to be.
The length of the current closure is unknown, but we will be back as soon as we can. We have frozen all memberships and emailed all current members earlier today. We have refunded all bookings and we have commited to maintaining our team of 70 staff on 90% pay for December & January, making use of the furlough scheme where possible.
There is enough bleak news on offer currently so this newsletter is purely positive from this point on and we hope you enjoy reading it.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has come through our doors this year. We didn’t quite get to bring you every one of the wonderful things we had planned for 2020, but we are proud to have been able to deliver fantastic sets, smiling staff and a safe environment to keep us all climbing as much as possible. We are proud to have maintained the entire LCC team and topped up furlough during closed periods to ensure we all got through this together.
